Here’s how we got here… The first time we vacationed in Perdido Key was in 1999 for our 10th wedding anniversary. We instantly fell in love with the island because of its laid-back beach town feel. It had wide-open spaces and wasn’t overly populated. It quickly became and remained our go-to vacation destination, and there was no question that someday, one day, this was where we wanted to make our dream of owning a vacation rental come true.

After searching for the perfect place, we knew Ocean Breeze West was it! Being a low-density complex with only 47 residential units, it offered a private beach that would never be overly crowded, and it also had the nostalgic old Florida feel that we love so much.

We bought Perdido Dream in December 2015 and had our first rental guests in January 2016. I’ve always been very hands-on working with guests, but since retiring from our marketing company in 2021, it has become my full-time job. I’m the one who handles the reservations from start to finish. I answer any questions guests may have, and on check-in days, once our amazing cleaning crew, which has been with us for over five years, is finished, I step in to make sure the condo is completely dialed in down to the smallest details for guest arrivals. Rodger still works from home full-time for a local ad agency, but he also handles the technical and creative side of Perdido Dream. He created this website, takes many of the photos, and is often the one who will come to the condo should any issues need attention. Living here in Perdido Key, we both are usually only a phone call or text away and pride ourselves on our responsiveness to guests. We know how important vacations are so our main goal is to make sure yours will be one that you will always remember fondly.

• Access your balcony from the living area AND the master bedroom. Nothing like waking up to see the beautiful Gulf waters!
• Enjoy a smoke-free vacation. In addition to smoking and vaping being prohibited in our condo and on our balcony, our building, Ocean Breeze West, is a 100% Smoke Free Facility, so there is no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot and private beach. There is no designated smoking area.
