I never wanted to leave the condo. It was perfect in every way! This was my baby boy’s first trip to the beach and although he wanted to stay at the pool most of the time, he had the most amazing time! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Perdido Dream! This is our 3rd time to stay at Ocean Breeze West, but our 1st in this unit. The Dream is our favorite by far! We will definitely choose this one again. It is so cute, has everything we needed. I always cook a shrimp boil one night during our stay at the beach and this place even had a large enough pot! I didn’t need to lug one from home, although I didn’t know that. I can save space in the car next time! Sheila is the perfect host. …Thank you for sharing this lovely place!

What a great week this has been, My son, husband, sister and I enjoyed our time here so much. We’ve come to Perdido Key for the last 11 summers! 2nd time here at The Dream. Sheila and Rodger, Thank you so much for sharing Perdido Dream with us! We celebrated our 40th anniversary here and hope to celebrate many future celebrations here! We love it! We were fortunate to have great weather, saw some dolphins in the water and enjoyed watching the young families enjoy the beach and water. We went to the Naval Museum two (yes 2) days and enjoyed the Blue Angels Air Show very much! We ventured to Foley, AL for shopping and enjoyed several restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We celebrated our anniversary dinner at Perdido Key Oyster Bar and LOVED it! Great food, service and views. The Shrimp Basket quickly became one of our favorites, too. We can’t wait to return! Your personal touches make this place feel like home!

“Perdido Dream” Excellent Condo, Everything Perfectly Fabulous. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in “Perfect Dream” for a long weekend. The condo is well-equipped, stylish, comfortable, and comes with attention to detail. It had everything we needed and more. Furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen had everything you needed! The location is perfect. Near to grocery stores and restaurants. The view from the balcony is amazing. Sheila was very attentive and great to work with. She wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. So once again the Perdido Dream did not disappoint. We were here for 3 weeks and so many temperatures and oceans outside. Kept singing Kenny Chesney’s “All I Want for Christmas is a Real Good Tan!” 🙂 Thanks to Sheila and Rodger that’s what I got. My husband and I mainly stayed in the condo watching the waves and marveling at the sunrise and sunset that God provided for us to see. Everybody have a “Merry Christmas” and a “Happy New Year”. We have had a wonderful week in Perdido! Not sure you can ever rest, relax, and recharge enough to actually say “I’m ready to go home now” but we are going back to Louisville, Kentucky regardless. We all agree our favorite meal was at The Pointe, complete with a little Bluegrass band inside and a little R+B band outside. Miss Winnie’s desserts at The Point did not disappoint. The beach greeted us each morning and said good night to us each evening. We have enjoyed long talks, short walks, reminisced, and giggled like school girls. That’s how we ROLL. God always shows Himself to be ALMIGHTY at the Beach.

We enjoy a pretty low-key vacation ~ Sunday morning we were blessed with a visit from the dolphins and then Sunday night enjoying pizza (from Lillian’s) on the balcony… The Blue Angels did a beach fly-by at eye level!!!!!!!! We were not expecting them to be in Pensacola, because they were doing a show somewhere. It was the highlight of a wonderful week. Friday night we stayed in, had a shrimp boil from Joe Patti’s and a bottle of wine. (What to do with leftovers? Make shrimp po boys for breakfast, of course! LoL!!!). ‘Til next time…

Dear Rodger and Sheila, I am writing this on our last night in your beautiful condo, and I am depressed that we are leaving in the morning. Perdido Dream has truly been a dream this week! The weather was perfect all week, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Your condo is just stunning – everything is decorated beautifully, so well-stocked, clean, and organized. Sheila, your communication before and during our stay was above and beyond. Our boys are 8 and 4, and they had an absolute blast. The extra TV for a game console was a great bonus. 🙂 We enjoyed breakfast and lunch with that perfect view and slept like babies in the comfy beds. A perfect week!

Sheila and Rodger, Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us! We were absolutely amazed by the furnishings and décor – this condo is comfortable but incredibly stylish!! Mornings were spent on the balcony, enjoying coffee while taking in the view. Afternoons were spent on the beach, where we swam and relaxed. Evenings were wonderful – memories made over delicious dinners and cocktails. Our family had the best vacation – in fact, it was Will’s first! He is 11 months old. Wow, what a water baby! Perfect condo! We had a perfect week at Perdido Dream! The condo is decorated so tastefully, the beds are so comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The view is spectacular, and the beach service is a wonderful bonus. Super accessible by the elevator, yet we heard no hallway noise or neighbor noise. The balcony is big and private. It truly is a perfect place!

The name says it all… “Perdido Dream!” Enjoy every second! First, Sheila was an incredible host who displayed complete professionalism and integrity from the very first response to the closing remarks. Second, the process to acquire such a beautiful paradise is exceptionally user-friendly along with so many amenities it is unbelievable. My wife and I were so astounded by the friendly atmosphere and privacy it made us feel we were on our honeymoon all alone on a deserted island with only ourselves and a heaven-like ambiance. There are so many diverse locations and opportunities that we found online, but I promise you if you go ahead and choose “Perdido Dream,” your search will be a lot less work and time, so you can focus on packing up to get here! You do not need to pack very much to enjoy Perdido Dream because what you have in your kitchen, Shiela has available in this one.
We cooked a lot while we were here and the appliances, utensils, and serving dishes are all within reach for easy convenience. Also, you will be in another universe when you wake up in the most comfortable beds and look out into the deep-vibrant colors of the water through the sliding glass doors in both the master bedroom, as well as the living room while you enjoy your coffee. One cool evening, we even had a romantic dinner out on the lanai while watching the sunset listening to sweet music to cap off another phenomenal evening. After you stay here once, you will not want to waste your time looking anywhere else. Once you have had the best, accept no substitutes!

From the fabulously helpful and generous owners to the most immaculate and beautifully decorated condo we’ve ever booked, this truly is a dream! Nothing beats drinking your morning coffee on the balcony and enjoying dolphins swimming by below, just to say, “We’re here for you!” Sheila and Rodger really have thought of everything you need and have chosen such high-quality pieces, from the Keurig machine and beautiful furniture to the lovely knick-knacks and framed photos adorning the walls to the heavenly king bed and mattress! Even all the towels and washcloths were white, clean, and in perfect condition, which is usually unheard of in a rental! We could not have been more pleased and can’t wait to return. This is an amazing condo & it was a 1st for Perdido Key. I definitely hope to return as there are so many restaurants that we had heard about but not enough time to go. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Perdido Dream Vacation home & allowing us to make it our home for the week. Everything started off wonderfully until Hurricane Harvey decided to make himself known as a tropical storm on the west coast of Florida! 3 days of high winds & torrential rains interrupted our beach week. Thank you for a perfect vacation. We had been looking forward to this road trip all summer, and your place exceeded our expectations. Your condo is so perfectly decorated and the view is so spectacular. We will dream of this place all year in Milwaukee and anxiously await our return next summer. Wonderful Vacation Spot! Our family stayed at Perdido Dream the week of August 19th. We can honestly say that we had one of the best vacations of our lives. The condo was decorated beautifully, just as the pictures showed. The sand was so clean it squeaked. The water was perfectly warm. On top of all of that, we met some wonderful people which really made the vacation that much better. We had zero issues at all and could not have been happier with the unit, location, or well, anything. The view was incredible each morning as we woke and brought the kids out to watch the dolphins. We are already planning our trip down for next year! Thank you, it was amazing!

Dear Sheila & Rodger – Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us! We especially loved the awesome kitchen amenities/spices/extras, the extra comfy beds, the large balcony, the beach chairs, and the beautiful pictures all over the condo! Our 3 sons, Bradley, Ben, and Drew, are 11, 7, and 5. We loved just hanging out at the beach and pool, cooking easy suppers and lunches in the condo, and crabbing at night. We loved Sunset Grille – we highly recommend it to anyone! Laid back, excellent seafood, and oh, so relaxing! We have loved every second of our vacation! Thanks for everything, Sheila!

We loved our stay at Perdido Dream! The condo was beautiful and right on the beach. When we first walked in the view was fantastic! It was decorated very nicely and was comfortable for our family of 6. The beds were really comfortable, too. We were there on spring break. I was worried that it would be super busy and crowded, but it wasn’t! The pool was never busy. We never had to wait for the elevator and the beach was never crowded. We loved the location!! Sheila was wonderful to work with and even let us stay a few hours longer due to the fact that no one was checking in that day! We will definitely be booking this condo again!!

We were so very pleased and pleasantly surprised by the perfect fit of this property to our needs and our activities. We would love to return to this same property anytime but especially during this time of the year. The property was a perfect fit for my husband and me. It was not too large, not too small, but just right ( kind of sounds like The Three Bears and we were just that cozy). The condo was so very well equipped Unlike so many places we have stayed, the air conditioner actually kept the temperature just the way we like it (cool). There was more than enough space for all our things. In fact, there was pretty much a space to put all our stuff so that we were never cluttered. ( a pet peeve). The kitchen was also well-equipped with everything we needed. All the niceties of home were there. The location was in the same general area as most of our favorite dining establishments. In fact, we could have walked to a couple of them. Grocery stores and a hardware store were within 5 minutes. For us, it is pretty much a perfect location. The location of the beach was also a plus. It was a very short distance from our condo to the beach. That made it convenient to rerun to our room as needed. Also not to be overlooked, was the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. That was a luxury, as well as a savings. The owner was most attentive to assure that we were satisfied. A nice touch was that paper goods, for kitchen and bathroom, bath soaps, dishwasher detergent, garbage sacks, and dishwashing liquid were found waiting for us. We were all around pleased with our visit. We welcome and look forward to returning.

If I could rate the “Dream” condo OVER 5 stars, I would!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax on our honeymoon. Condo is spotless, comfortable, inviting and so much more. We’ve already booked a return trip with Sheila and can’t wait to go back!! Can’t say enough good things about her. Communication with the owner was as perfect as the rental. Location is close enough to anything and everything and far enough away to feel secluded. Waking up to breakfast on the patio while watching the dolphins, followed by a day on the beach while soaking in the sun, then dinner back on the patio – start to finish a perfect day. Thanks for sharing ### with us. We did our very best to leave it as impeccable as we found it. Cheers!!

We just returned from a wonderful week at Ocean Breeze West ###, “Perdido Dream.” This beautifully decorated condo sits right on the beach and has everything you need. We were so happy the beach chairs and the umbrella were included, too! If you need anything, there are a few shops, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. This area is beautiful and seemed more private, too. We enjoyed watching the waves crash, laying in the sun, shelling, walking the beach and making memories with family. Thank you so much to the Chavis’ for your beautiful place. It was so relaxing and much-needed!

Spent a week with friends at this very comfortable and beautifully decorated condo – very relaxing decor. The owners are awesome to work with, complex is on the beach, shopping and restaurants are nearby. I will definitely schedule trips in the future to Ocean Breeze West ###.

Everything about this condo was wonderful. It was decorated so beautifully, and very clean. We spent the week here with our 3 kids and had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The view from the balcony was outstanding, and the furniture was nice and comfy. The walk to the beach was very short and we felt safe letting our youngest walk to the beach and back to the condo by himself. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fabulous! I can not say enough about Perdido Dream, it was fabulous! We had a few challenges getting into the condo and Sheila fixed it immediately, we were so impressed with the attention that she paid to making sure everything was perfect. The condo itself was beyond expectations! Furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen had everything you needed! Our favorite part was the balcony, view was spectacular and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and even enjoy our meals out there. Definitely will return!!

Our stay was simply fabulous. The condo and the complex are even more beautiful in person than the lovely photos depict. Could not think of one thing to improve upon, since Sheila is a very conscientious and diligent property owner/host. Her personal, thoughtful touches are evident throughout. We lacked for nothing. We have estimated we have enjoyed about 23 beach rentals, and this was the most outstanding accommodation and value of all 23 vacations. I hesitate to write such a glowing review because selfishly, we like Perdido Dream being a well-kept secret!!! We were so blessed to find this place, and I believe we have the honor of being the first family to book a return visit. Can’t wait!!!

Comforts of home with a breathtaking view! We have found this condo to be one of the best we have stayed in on the Gulf Coast. It is beautifully decorated with high-quality fittings. Beautiful yet comfortable for a total beach “kick back and breathe” experience. The owners are delightful and love making sure their guests have a wonderful experience.

We are fortunate enough to be snowbirds this year. This is the third week in this condo. We have stayed at quite a few condos along the Gulf and this is by far the best we have stayed. We are so happy that we will be here until the end of February. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into this condo. Our needs have been met above and beyond. I have not stayed in a condo where I have not had to buy things for the kitchen. I have not had to buy one thing for this kitchen. I can’t believe they even have a Keurig! We use one at home and it is so nice to have one here!
